Founded in 2001, Societatea de Reparații Locomotive „CFR – SCRL Brașov” SA specialises in maintenance, repair and modernisation of rolling stock. With a strong technical base, qualified staff and modern facilities, the company serves diesel and electric locomotives, including conversions to battery-electric traction.

Through projects carried out with national and European programmes such as the PNRR, SCRL actively contributes to efficiency, safety and decarbonisation of rail transport in Romania.
