Planned repairs (RR and RG), service-life documentation, adaptations to modern requirements and modernisation options for electric and diesel locomotives.

SCRL Brașov specialises in maintenance and repair of traction rolling stock, holding certification under EU Directive 798/2016 for the maintenance function. The company provides services for SNTFC, CFR Călători SA and other rail operators that own traction rolling stock. More than 40 years of experience in the field.

Planned repairs – RR and RG

Electric locomotives: LE 5100 kW (series 400, 410 and 420 or EA, EA1 and EA2); LE 3400 kW (series 430 and 440 or EC and EC1); modernised LE 5100 kW (series 450); modernised LE 3400 kW (series 460); thyristorised LE 3400 kW (series 461); thyristorised LE 5100 kW (series 470 and 473); under certification – LE 5100 kW with asynchronous motors (series 481 and 482 or LEMA and ELASMO); LE 3400 kW with asynchronous motors (series 483 or LEMA4000); battery LE (series 492) for shunting. Diesel locomotives: LDE 2100 CP (series 600, 610 or DA and DA1).

Modernisation options for electric locomotives

Modernisation is essential given that a large share of rolling stock is over 30 years old. Main modernisation directions:
